ATM/DEBIT CARDS

Shopping has just become easier with your new Housatonic Teachers FCU ATM/Debit Card.

Whether you choose- “debit or credit” - the purchase will be deducted from your Checking Account, not billed to a credit card. 

If you choose “credit” you sign a receipt and the transaction is processed. 

If you choose “debit” you enter your pin and the transaction is processed through the ATM network.

Signature based transactions are more efficient for you and less costly for the credit union than PIN-based transactions.

Remember - Don’t PIN in Public.

But if you want cash back when you make a purchase, you do have to choose debit and use the PIN.
